24hour Process Service has served Colorado and the surrounding areas since 1989. The work centers on what a law office actually needs from a server: papers delivered to the right person, deadlines respected, and a straight answer when you ask where a job stands. Our company specializes in fulfilling the needs of paralegals and attorneys, whether the file holds one summons or a stack of papers bound for opposite ends of the state.
Two services make up the business: service of process, and the skip tracing that support it. Below you will find how each one works, what to include when you send a job, how to check its progress, and how to reach the office.
Serving Legal Papers Across Colorado
Service of process is the core of what we do. You send the documents and the addresses, and we handle delivery, both locally and statewide. A serve in the next county and a serve on the far side of Colorado come through the same office and the same intake. The aim on every job is to meet the legal deadline attached to it, no matter what.
Some filings leave no slack. Same-day and next-day service is available for those, so a document that lands on your desk late does not have to put a court date at risk. Our legal process service page explains how a serve moves from intake to completion.
When the Address Is the Problem
A serve is only as good as the address behind it. If a defendant has moved, or the address on your paperwork is out of date, we can locate a current one before the papers go out. This local work is done strictly for process services. It exists to get your documents to the intended recipient. It is not offered as a general search service.
Running the locate and the serve through one office keeps the file in one place, and you are not coordinating two vendors against a single deadline. Our skip tracing page covers what the location involves and when to ask for one.
How to Send Us a Job
Every work request needs three things: how many papers you have, the service address or addresses, and the serve-by date. With those in hand, standard turnaround is 3 to 5 business days. If your serve-by date is sooner than that, note it on the request and ask about same-day or next-day service.
Submit through the online work request form, or send the details by phone or email. Fee schedules are available upon request, and Donna Hester can give you a price quote for a specific job. We accept company checks and PayPal. PayPal payments carry a $4 transaction fee.
Online Statuses for Your Office
Paralegals tracking several serves at once should not have to pick up the phone for every update. We now offer online statuses, so your office can check where its jobs stand on its own schedule. To set up access, call Donna Hester for a username and password.
The status system is part of a broader commitment to current tools. We use up-to-date software to serve the needs of our clients, from the moment a request arrives until the job is closed out.
